History
Heaven Shall Burn was formed in autumn 1996, under the name ‘Consense’. With the recording of their second demo in early 1997 the band changed their name to ‘Heaven Shall Burn’. The name is taken from a Marduk. In an interview with the band at decoymusic.com, the band said: “It’s not that we’re huge Marduk fans, but we liked the name. It sounds a bit provoking and so people ask us again and again for the meaning behind our name. It has been like that since the very beginning. We use the term “heaven” as a metaphor for some kind of a fake paradise that people create in their heads. Some people close their eyes and don’t see the truth surrounding them. So this kind of fake heaven should burn. Some people might think that our name is an anti-religious statement, but it isn’t.”[citation needed]

Formed in 2007 in the city of Bismarck, North Dakota. Vendetta Spoken is concocted of six motivated musicians whose shared vision of creating solid, unrelenting music is matched only by the versatility and aggression of their live performance.

Vendetta Spoken has shared the stage with bands Born of Osiris, Shai Hulud, With Blood Comes Cleansing, Hemlock, For Today, Too Pure to Die, The Crinn, Kingston Falls and several others.

The band have finally released their debut album “Shrieking of the Damned” and it is available at Hot Topic which is located at the Kirkwood Mall, Nightlife Music, and Eckroth Music of Bismarck.

Despised Icon

History



Despised Icon is a deathcore band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The band was formed by members of Neuraxis, In Dying Days and Heaven’s Cry, in January 2002.
The band is noted for the use of two full-time vocalists, Alexandre Erian, (Also one of the members of the rap group Crimson Syndicate) who sings using a mid-range yelling/shouting technique, and Steve Marois for the extremely low growls, high pitched screams, and “pig squeals”. Despised Icon is known for its work in the underground music industry, having been met with both critical acclaim and appraisal for its efforts in deathcore music. They can also be cited as one of the first deathcore bands, starting out in 2002.

History



Job for a Cowboy is an American death metal band, formed in Glendale, Arizona in 2003. They released their first EP, Doom in 2005, and later that year signed with the Metal Blade label. Their official debut album, Genesis, was released in 2007, peaking at #54 on the Billboard 200 and selling 13,000 copies in its first week.
Job for a Cowboy started as a deathcore group, and evolved into a predominantly death metal sound with their full-length debut Genesis.
The band has played in several festivals, including Download, Sounds of the Underground and Wacken Open Air. The current band members are vocalist Jonny Davy, guitarists Bobby Thompson, bassist Brent Riggs, and drummer Jon ‘Davis’ Rice.
The band’s fan base has allowed them to share the stage with everyone from As I Lay Dying and The Dillinger Escape Plan to Origin and The Acacia Strain to Haste the Day and The Red Chord.
To add to their progressive accomplishments they have now signed a deal with the well-known and well-respected label, Metal Blade Records; known for signing artists such as GWAR, As I Lay Dying, Cannibal Corpse, Unearth, The Red Chord, Black Dahlia Murder and Bolt Thrower.
Job For A Cowboy will be touring with other heavy metal acts such as Children of Bodom, Megadeth, In Flames, and High on Fire in a metal festival known as Gigantour. Megadeth will be headlining the event.
They have stated on their myspace that a new album will come out in 2009.

History


All Shall Perish is a deathcore quintet from Oakland, California formed in 2002, and are consistently cited by critics as one of the best bands in the genre. All Shall Perish combines various genres, including death metal, deathgrind and metalcore. Since 2005, All Shall Perish have delivered two records off of Nuclear Blast. The debut album, Hate, Malice, Revenge, was originally released by Japanese record label Amputated Vein Records in 2003. In 2005, it was re-released by Nuclear Blast and since then has received mostly underground acclaim. In 2006, The Price of Existence was released to largely positive critical reaction. The first single, “Eradication”, was made into a video and is played on MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball.

Hailing from Massachusetts, Unearth bring a refreshing sense of talent with charismatic riffs, thought provoking lyrics and pummeling breakdowns. Unearth masterfully combine an intoxicating mix of American and European metal with hardcore ethic and punch. This unique approach makes Unearth one of the most abrasive, commanding and emotionally charged groups in heavy music today.
Formed in 1998, Unearth has accomplished more on their own than most bands can do with full support of a label and press. Constant tours all over the globe have earned them respect and recognition from their peers and helped cultivate one of the strongest fan bases around. In the last two years alone, Unearth has embarked on a sold-out headlining tour with Terror, Black Dahlia Murder and Remembering Never in tow, a sold-out run alongside Atreyu, and high profile treks with Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Sounds Of The Underground 2005, The Headbanger’s Ball tour and Ozzfest 2004. This summer, Unearth will head back overseas as a featured act on Sounds Of The Underground Europe and will once again tear up the US on the now infamous Ozzfest before unleashing their brutal new album in August.

Trivium

Trivium is a band from Orlando, Florida. Their first album, Ember To Inferno, was released on Lifeforce Records in 2003, while their second album Ascendancy was released via Roadrunner Records on March 22nd, 2005. They recently released their

third album, “The Crusade”, on which the band’s sound changed slightly, replacing screaming with clean singing and settling on a heavily Metallica-influenced style. They even play their older songs in this style now and even contributed to a Metallica cover album ‘Master Of Puppets- ReMastered’ playing the title track. Last year, the band hit the UK with Still Remains and 3 Inches of Blood for the 13-date Roadrunner Roadrage tour. The shows led them to far greater popularity in the UK, a feat proven by their critically-acclaimed opening slot at 2005’s Download Festival

Towards the end of late summer 2005, the band took part in Ozzfest 2005 playing on the second stage alongside bands such as As I Lay Dying, Arch Enemy and Rob Zombie. When the ‘egg-gate’ issue surrounding Sharon Osbourne and Iron Maiden sparked, the band stayed true to their idols and despite Osbourne’s ensuing sabotage of their sets, were quoted as saying “I wouldn’t throw anything at Maiden, not even money
